Hid-N Hills Llamas came into being in 1985. We started with 2 llamas, a female and an unrelated young female. As Gordy says, it was either the beginning of a good thing or the end of life as we had known it. Llama fever ran wild in our lives from that time forward. We have continued to "tweek" our herd of llamas to bring in new blood lines, and improve the conformation and quality of the llamas we produce. We pride ourselves on producing llamas of correct conformation, a very pleasing personality and extremely soft fleece.A visit to Hid-N Hills Llamas will be showcase our goals. The llamas on the farm all love attention and give back a hundred fold to all who venture into their pastures.

We have worked hard to produce llamas with a gentle and easy going personality; llamas that are loving and easy to work with; animals that have heavy bone structure and correct conformation. The fleece that our llamas produce is extremely soft and silky and, is award winning in the fleece competitions. Our llamas are award winning in the show ring; and are excellent breeding stock, companion animals, pack animals or guard animals. All llamas are halter broke and lead trained when they leave the farm - many are show veterans and proven winners.
